Accommodation Facilities in Sri Lanka

In Sri Lanka tourists can get accommodation from various type of hotels as follows.

1. 5 Star Hotels

In Sri Lanka there are lot of 5-star hotels, but those hotels are limited to top tourists ’attractions and main cities such as Colombo, Dambulla, Kandy, East coast… etc. The cost will be 100 $ to 200 $ per person in half board basis.

2. 4 star / 3 star / 2 star hotels

Tourists can get accommodation from 4 star to 2 star hotels. There are lots of hotels in Sri Lanka in this category in any tourist’s destination. The cost will be 30 $ to 100 $ per person in half board basis.

3. Eco Tourism hotels

There are lots of eco hotels in Sri Lanka. These hotels are made inside natural sceneries such as inside forests, near water falls, in mountains… .etc. From these hotels ’tourists can experience real natural views and can enjoy the environment. The cost will be $ 50 to 250 $ per person in half board basis.

4. Economic hotels / Guest houses

There are lot of economic hotels and guest houses in Sri Lanka. The cost will be 10 $ to 50 $ per person in half board basis. But the facilities will vary with the each place.
